Automated image segmentation for synchrotron X-ray paleontology.

This is a web-based tool for automated image segmentation of synchrotron X-ray images of fossilized bones. The community is invited to upload images of fossilized bones and receive a segmentation of the bone. The segmentation is a binary image where the bone is white and the background is black. The segmentation is generated using a deep learning model trained on a large dataset of X-ray images of fossilized bones.

The tool will also generate a 3D mesh (STL file) of the bone. The mesh can be used to reconstruct the bone in 3D. The mesh can also be used to generate a 3D print of the fossil data.
